About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Receive and stage production orders and materials
- Move production orders and materials
- Manage inventory and fulfill orders
- Ensure department jobs are inventoried accurately and staged correctly
- Locate past-due work and stage it in an appropriate area
- Help assemble basic assembly jobs during downtime
- Complete other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school education required
- Preferred 1-3 years of related job experience
- Ability to work in a team environment to achieve tight deadlines
- Knowledge of SAP
- Organizational skills
- Basic computer and Excel experience
- Attention to detail
- Communication skills
- Problem-solving abilities
- Operation of standing forklifts/pallet jacks
- Cleanliness
- Previous material handling experience
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
