About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan, develop, and manage in‑store event activations including Grand Openings, community events, local partnerships, and special store activities.
- Develop event marketing materials including circulars, signage, and printed pieces, coordinate production, delivery, and installation.
- Partner with Merchandising and cross‑functional teams to align on event goals, timelines, promotional details, and execution expectations.
- Coordinate community engagement initiatives with marketing team, store leadership, and community partners.
- Lead execution of ceremonial activities such as ribbon cuttings.
- Ensure customer inquiries receive timely responses through all platforms.
- Analyze customer feedback trends to identify insights and improvement opportunities.
- Support department printing and mailing needs.
- Maintain organized signage storage, inventory tracking, and replenishment schedules.
- Assist with app/website functionality, updates, user experience, and content creation.
- Monitor social media platforms for customer questions and respond in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Communications & Public Affairs Leader to align communication plans with business strategies.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of hands‑on experience in digital marketing and communications (email, SMS, website, app, social media)
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong workflow and project management skills with ability to balance multiple deadlines
- Experience using digital/social communication platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Hootsuite, Google, etc. Any loyalty or merchandising experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Systems and software knowledge
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Experience with general communications, document creation, or coordinating workflow tasks (preferred)
- Educational background in Communications, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred, or equivalent administrative experience.
