About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan, develop, and manage in‑store event activations including Grand Openings, community events, local partnerships, and special store activities.
  • Develop event marketing materials including circulars, signage, and printed pieces, coordinate production, delivery, and installation.
  • Partner with Merchandising and cross‑functional teams to align on event goals, timelines, promotional details, and execution expectations.
  • Coordinate community engagement initiatives with marketing team, store leadership, and community partners.
  • Lead execution of ceremonial activities such as ribbon cuttings.
  • Ensure customer inquiries receive timely responses through all platforms.
  • Analyze customer feedback trends to identify insights and improvement opportunities.
  • Support department printing and mailing needs.
  • Maintain organized signage storage, inventory tracking, and replenishment schedules.
  • Assist with app/website functionality, updates, user experience, and content creation.
  • Monitor social media platforms for customer questions and respond in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Communications & Public Affairs Leader to align communication plans with business strategies.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of hands‑on experience in digital marketing and communications (email, SMS, website, app, social media)
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong workflow and project management skills with ability to balance multiple deadlines
  • Experience using digital/social communication platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Hootsuite, Google, etc. Any loyalty or merchandising experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Systems and software knowledge
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems
  • Experience with general communications, document creation, or coordinating workflow tasks (preferred)
  • Educational background in Communications, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred, or equivalent administrative experience.
