Understand and prioritize the organization's needs, improve data infrastructure, and develop metrics and reports to support data-driven decision-making.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define the BI team's medium-term roadmap and detailed backlog.
Build dashboards, write SQL queries, and calculate key performance metrics.
Work with DevSecOps on the rollout and deployment of Dataform.
Support data warehousing improvements by onboarding new data sources and enhancing data quality assurance.
Ensure data processing complies with privacy and security standards that meet or exceed GDPR requirements.
Review colleagues' work to guarantee the accuracy and quality of key figures and data.
Document work comprehensively and support the skill development of existing BI team members.

Requirements

Minimum of five years of professional experience in data analytics, business analytics, or business intelligence.
Experience with Dataform or dbt.
Excellent SQL skills.
Experience with cloud-based data management (e.g., BigQuery).
Experience with BI tools (e.g., Metabase).
Experience with project management tools (e.g., Linear).
Proficiency in English and German, both written and spoken.
Experience using generative AI tools for coding and documentation.
