About the role
- Close coordination with the CCO and Marketing to implement the overall commercial strategy
- Identify and leverage competitive advantages to optimize margins, capacity utilization, and marketing concepts
- KPI-driven planning and management of sales and marketing strategies across the entire product portfolio
- Responsible for target-group–oriented implementation of cruise line measures
- Ensure attractive terms and best possible rates with our cruise line and key account partners
- Increase B2B revenues in close cooperation with our cruise line and key account partners
- Analyze market, competitor, and demand developments to identify growth and revenue opportunities
- Develop and implement trade marketing and campaign strategies
- Monitor, analyze, and evaluate the performance of cruise line campaigns across all marketing and sales channels, including deriving recommendations for optimization
- Build and maintain our strategic partnerships and actively network (i.e., business travel, participation in partner events / annual meetings / quarterly alignments / trade fairs, etc.)
Requirements
- Completed degree in Business Administration, Marketing & Sales, Tourism Management, or a related field
- Initial professional experience in a commercial role (e.g., Commercial, Sales, Revenue Management, or Business Development)
- Confident user of MS Office (especially MS Excel and PowerPoint) as well as common analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Looker, etc.)
- Very good German and English skills (spoken and written)
- Ideally experience with CRM or revenue management systems or solid cruise industry knowledge – both are advantages but not required
- Strong numerical affinity and pronounced analytical skills with strategic thinking and an entrepreneurial mindset
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, confident stakeholder management, and negotiation ability
- Assertiveness and decisiveness
- Resilience, flexibility, and willingness to travel
