About the role
- Close coordination with the CCO and Marketing to implement the overall commercial strategy
- Identification and exploitation of competitive advantages to optimize our margins, capacity utilization, and commercialization concepts
- KPI-driven planning and management of sales and commercialization strategies across the entire product portfolio
- Responsibility for target-group-specific implementation of shipping line initiatives
- Ensuring attractive terms and the best possible rates with our shipping line and key account partners
- Increasing B2B revenues in close cooperation with our shipping line and key account partners
- Analysis of market, competitor, and demand developments to identify growth and profitability potential
- Development and implementation of trade marketing and campaign strategies
- Monitoring, analysis, and evaluation of shipping line campaign performance across all marketing and sales channels, including deriving recommendations for optimization
- Building and maintaining our strategic partnerships and active networking (e.g., business travel, attendance at partner events / annual meetings / quarterly alignments / trade fairs, etc.)
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing & Sales, Tourism Management, or a comparable field
- Initial professional experience in a commercial function (e.g., Commercial, Sales, Revenue Management, or Business Development)
- Confident user of MS Office (especially MS Excel and PowerPoint)
- Experience with common analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Looker, or similar)
- Very good German and English skills (both spoken and written)
- Ideally: experience with CRM or revenue management systems or solid cruise industry knowledge
- Strong numerical affinity and pronounced analytical skills
- Strategic thinking and an entrepreneurial mindset
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Confident stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Assertiveness and decisiveness
- Resilience, flexibility, and willingness to travel
