Requirements

What you’ll need

6 months to 1 year minimum of professional experience in remote medical interpretation
Minimum C1 fluency in English
Proof of medical interpreter knowledge issued within the last 12 months (accepted certifications: ALTA: Minimum score of 9 required; LanguageStat (PICSI): Passing score of 75–80% required)
Complete mastery of medical and customer service terminology
Must currently hold, or be willing to obtain, HIPAA and FWA (Fraud, Waste, and Abuse) certifications
Willingness to successfully complete a standard background check via email
A hardwired Ethernet connection directly to your router is mandatory (Wi-Fi is strictly prohibited)
A high-quality, noise-canceling USB headset
Minimum of Windows 10 OS and 4GB RAM
The latest version of Google Chrome, Apple Safari, or Microsoft Edge
