Successful candidates will be capable of applying their experience and knowledge to create innovative Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) solutions to support both digital modernization and legacy initiatives associated with a variety of health care applications.
Candidates will be expected to work with senior-level systems and software architects, engineers, and developers to gather requirements, develop and build enterprise ALM solutions based on business needs with robust testing and documentation within an agile environment.
An understanding of DoD and government security standards and policies are needed to ensure all deployed changes are highly secure and available.
Typical Duties/Abilities: Work with Technical/Solutions Architects and Business Analysts to translate business requirements and develop consistent ALM strategies into well architected solutions.
Work closely with functional team to determine feasibility of requirements and collaborate on design ideas and improvements.
Taking a supporting role in collaborations between the business, architecture, development, and testing teams.
Execute test plans to ensure quality delivery using test code and unit tests.
Follow coding standards and participate in code reviews during projects to ensure appropriate design patterns are followed.
Requirements
5+ years' experience in the knowledge and adoption of Serena Business Manager (SBM) ALM solutions or similar solutions (Appian, JIRA, etc.)
3+ years' experience in an ALM admin/engineer role.
Ability to establish and champion SBM standards, and best practices to peers and program leaders that align with program goals.
Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Lean Startup, XP) and cross-functional teams (Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, Designers, Business Analysts)
Possess Design Thinking certifications such as those offered through IDEO, Stanford, Cornell, MIT, or a host of other organizations.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with a track record of taking solution ownership.
Demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate with leadership and key stakeholders.
Ability to articulate design and configuration choices and bring about consensus.
