Platform Engineer

• Successful candidates will be capable of applying their experience and knowledge to create innovative Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) solutions to support both digital modernization and legacy initiatives associated with a variety of health care applications.
• Candidates will be expected to work with senior-level systems and software architects, engineers, and developers to gather requirements, develop and build enterprise ALM solutions based on business needs with robust testing and documentation within an agile environment.
• An understanding of DoD and government security standards and policies are needed to ensure all deployed changes are highly secure and available.
• Typical Duties/Abilities: Work with Technical/Solutions Architects and Business Analysts to translate business requirements and develop consistent ALM strategies into well architected solutions.
• Work closely with functional team to determine feasibility of requirements and collaborate on design ideas and improvements.
• Taking a supporting role in collaborations between the business, architecture, development, and testing teams.
• Execute test plans to ensure quality delivery using test code and unit tests.
• Follow coding standards and participate in code reviews during projects to ensure appropriate design patterns are followed.
