About the role
- Support the global design, planning and implementation for the respective area of responsibility within the IT project portfolio, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to the required quality
- Advise KraussMaffei (KM) business units on efficient and effective processes within the respective area of responsibility of the IT project portfolio
- Contribute to the design and selection of application and process solutions for new or changed business requirements, locally and globally, for the respective area of the IT project portfolio
- Contribute to the development of the IT strategy for the respective area of the IT project portfolio
- Global expert for an area of the IT product portfolio:
- - Vulnerability Management with regular vulnerability scans and coordination of remediation
- - Patch Management with planning, coordination and execution across all IT infrastructure platforms
- - Interface between the Security Operations Center (SOC), other security functions and IT operations
- - Management of PKI infrastructures
- - Support in security incidents and their analysis
- - Participation in the further development of security policies and processes
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in computer science, IT security, or equivalent qualifications with initial IT and business experience in a multinational company
- Required knowledge of the IT product portfolio relevant to the area of responsibility
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in German and English
- Basic knowledge of various operating systems (Windows, Linux) and security architectures such as Zero-Trust
- At least one year of experience in IT security, ideally with a focus on vulnerability and patch management
- Knowledge of common tools and frameworks (e.g., CVSS, NIST, CIS Benchmarks)
- Flexibility and willingness to travel
