About the role
- Essential member of the interdisciplinary OR team, assisting with procedures across a variety of specialties.
- Carefully prepares and tidies the operating room and the required instruments before and after procedures.
- Cares for patients with empathy and strong communication skills.
- Ensures smooth workflow and coordination in the operating room.
- Shares knowledge and supervises OTA trainees during their training.
Requirements
- Completed training as a Surgical Technologist (OTA) or as a Registered Nurse, ideally with further specialization in perioperative/surgical services.
- Willingness to develop professionally and personally.
- Professional competence and a confident, personable manner.
- A true team player who is ready to pitch in.
