About the role
- Over three years you will learn everything you need for the OTA role — theory and practical training alternate regularly
- Practical training takes place at Krankenhaus Nordwest or Hospital zum Heiligen Geist; theoretical instruction is provided at the OTA school of Klinikum Frankfurt Höchst (Varisano)
- You will be at the heart of things: assisting in surgeries and caring for patients
- You will also gain additional insights into nursing, functional diagnostics, the emergency department, and central sterilization
Requirements
- At least a secondary school leaving certificate or a (technical) high-school diploma
- Interest in medicine, technology, and the natural sciences
- Ability to keep a cool head, even in stressful situations
- Empathy to support patients and their families
- Attention to detail, a strong sense of responsibility, and concentration
