About the role

  • Build, manage and optimize a strategic OE supplier base
  • Ensure compliance, performance, and long-term value creation
  • Identify potential leads, initiate contact through cold calling and networking, and convert prospects into long-term partners
  • Contribute to category strategies and annual plans; support business cases and resource estimates for key initiatives
  • Align with internal teams, share insights, and ensure strong communication and commitment
  • Analyze markets, identify cost drivers, and negotiate pricing, terms and assortment
  • Monitor supplier KPIs, SLAs and agreements; drive improvements and renegotiate where needed
  • Identify savings opportunities, implement improvements, and maximize supplier contribution
  • Partner with supply chain teams to enhance delivery performance and operational efficiency

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of experience in business development, strategic procurement, partnerships or category management
  • Skilled negotiator with a strategic mindset and strong business acumen
  • Able to balance multiple perspectives and resolve conflicts constructively
  • Applies market insight to make informed, forward-thinking decisions
  • Thinks ahead strategically, translating trends and opportunities into actionable plans
  • Strong communicator who builds trust and relationships internally and externally
  • Organized, proactive, and committed to delivering results
