About the role
- Become a subject matter expert on the Kraken data model and contribute to its client-facing layer
- Ensure reliability and stability of models using good code conventions and testing
- Build core datasets capable of answering key business questions
- Work on strategic projects end to end and develop engineering skills
- Work closely with broad range of teams at Kraken and stakeholders across business and tech teams
- Define metrics and benchmarks for success and improve products
Requirements
- Strong level of data skills/analytics experience
- Comfortable with energy/utilities and other relevant subject areas
- Learns fast and enthusiastic about learning new technologies & processes
- Highly proficient in DBT and SQL
- Experience building data pipelines and working with engineering teams
- Experience with scripting language (ideally Python)
- Experience writing accurate and performant SQL queries
- Working in a modern cloud data warehouse environment
- Working collaboratively on codebases using git
