About the role
- Lead and build a Client Engineering team of 5-10 engineers
- Support Australian and New Zealand clients to deliver value
- Responsible for team development, process improvements, and stakeholder relationships
- Balance operational effectiveness, team wellbeing, technical leadership, and coordination with delivery/product groups
- Oversee planning rituals and connect team delivery to company goals
- Participate in hiring and team growth
Requirements
- Experience building and leading teams of 5-10 engineers
- Technical experience with Python and Django (or equivalent web framework)
- Experience with domain modelling, HTTP and REST APIs
- Experience writing robust and fault-tolerant software
- Experience with Celery and async processing
- Experience with Postgres, AWS
- Familiarity with Terraform, Packer, Consul
- Experience collaborating across multiple time zones
- Experience in people leadership, running 1:1s, mentoring and coaching
