About the role
- Global product counsel for Consumer initiatives
- Provide end‑to‑end advice across product ideation, development, marketing, launch, and lifecycle changes
- DRI for the Consumer product, development, and engineering sub-pods
- Marketing & promotions review for Consumer (focus on US and global geos)
- Post-licensing regulatory analysis to determine additional permissions, disclosures, or structuring needs
- Stakeholder enablement: draft playbooks, templates, and risk assessments to accelerate compliant shipping
- Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to chart clear, defensible paths to launch
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- Licensed attorney with ability to practice law in the United States
- 10+ years of relevant experience with US financial laws and regulations
- Knowledge of the ‘33 Act, money transmission laws, state lending laws, and payment regulations
- Experience advising on regulatory or product issues (law firm or in-house)
- Team-oriented, proactive and entrepreneurial mindset
- Ability to move quickly and deliver concise, business-minded practical advice
- Interest in the crypto industry
- (Nice to have) Experience using LLMs to increase efficiency and build know-how libraries/custom GPTs
- (Nice to have) Experience advising Regulatory/Product functions of fast-growing FinTech or crypto businesses in-house
- (Nice to have) Prior experience supporting product launches from inception to launch in multiple countries simultaneously
