About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead deployment workstreams that move digital, data and technology solutions from design into live frontline use.
- Support mobilisation, readiness assessment, deployment planning, implementation and adoption activities across clinical and operational settings.
- Coordinate activity across clinical, operational, digital, data, technical, information governance, cyber and supplier teams.
- Support deployment of EPR, AVT, virtual care, remote monitoring, analytics and other digital health technologies, including cutover planning, command centre activities and go-live support.
- Translate deployment plans into practical frontline actions, resolving blockers and maintaining pace across complex stakeholder environments.
- Monitor programme risks, issues, dependencies, readiness criteria, deployment milestones and benefits-related measures.
- Lead programme governance, reporting and assurance activities, with a clear focus on delivery confidence and operational adoption.
- Support transition from deployment into stabilisation, optimisation and benefits realisation phases.
- Apply structured implementation, change, adoption and programme management methodologies to complex healthcare environments.
- Support business development and proposition development activities linked to digital health deployment, adoption and technology-enabled transformation.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience delivering large-scale healthcare technology deployment programmes in complex clinical or operational environments.
- Demonstrable experience supporting the deployment of digital, data and technology solutions into frontline healthcare settings.
- Hands-on experience supporting EPR implementations, including readiness, cutover, command centre, go-live, stabilisation, adoption and optimisation activities.
- Experience deploying or supporting adoption of wider digital health technologies such as AVT, virtual care, remote monitoring, analytics, automation or AI-enabled solutions.
- Evidence of tenacity in delivery: able to unblock issues, manage ambiguity, sustain momentum and drive action across challenging stakeholder environments.
- Understanding of programme, project, change, adoption and implementation management methodologies.
- Experience managing deployment plans, readiness trackers, RAID logs, risks, dependencies, decision logs, governance forums and delivery reporting.
- Strong understanding of healthcare operational processes, clinical workflows and the practical challenges of implementing technology in live care environments.
- Knowledge of major EPR platforms and associated digital health technologies, suppliers and deployment approaches.
- Ability to work credibly with frontline clinical and operational teams, translating programme objectives into practical actions and adoption plans.
- Strong PowerPoint and executive reporting capability, with the ability to create clear materials for senior stakeholders.
- Strong Excel skills supporting programme reporting, delivery performance management and benefits tracking.
- Experience applying GenAI and agentic AI tools to improve programme delivery, reporting, knowledge management and implementation efficiency.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and programme delivery skills.
- Previous experience working within NHS Trusts, Integrated Care Systems, Healthcare ALBs or healthcare innovation function is highly advantageous.
