About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Join KPMG’s Private Enterprise team and play a pivotal role in client success
  • Build trusted relationships with privately owned businesses, entrepreneurs, and high net worth families
  • Manage a portfolio of client engagements, consulting with Partners and Directors
  • Assist clients with management reporting, cash flow forecasts, provisional tax, GST, and FBT
  • Understand client challenges and provide solutions using Xero, Taxlab, and Excel
  • Deliver engagements to high quality, commercial, and profitability standards
  • Build and maintain external networks and client relationships
  • Identify and generate new business opportunities using KPMG service offerings
  • Develop engagement knowledge, proposals, case studies, and deliverables for use across the firm
  • Coach, develop, supervise, and provide quality assurance for staff work
  • Grow technical or practice area expertise and monitor industry, market, and competitor trends
  • Utilise AI tools to efficiently deliver client outcomes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years of experience in a business advisory role, preferably in a mid-tier or Big 4 environment
  • Proactive, client-focused mindset dedicated to driving business growth and innovation
  • Commercial acumen and ability to achieve financial and operational objectives
  • Strong analytical ability to transform data into strategic insights
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to engage diverse clients
  • Ability to build constructive relationships across teams and share knowledge
  • Experience or ability to work with Xero, Taxlab, and Excel
