About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver and review accurate and timely enterprise technical services of varying complexity using new technology and processes
- Own work delivery and contribute to resolving complex compliance accounting and tax issues
- Review annual financial statements prepared by junior team members and provide feedback for compliance with accounting and taxation standards
- Potentially prepare complex group engagements
- Assist junior team members in prioritising work to complete deliverables on time
- Contribute an innovative approach to technical accounting delivery
- Coach and mentor team members and identify development or training needs
- Recognize business development opportunities and build key business relationships
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years of relevant professional accounting compliance experience
- CA ANZ or CPA membership or relevant overseas professional body
- Competent user of MS Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint and accounting systems
- Experience mentoring and coaching junior team members
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Professional approach to work and strong client focus
