About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- As a Creative Designer, you will play a key role within the Design team, producing high-quality visual outputs that support the business in building strong client relationships, communicating ideas effectively, and winning proposals through creative and compelling solutions.
- Working as part of the Brand team, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the firm to turn complex business content into clear, well-structured, and visually engaging deliverables for business development, client engagements, internal communications and leadership forums.
- This is an exciting opportunity for a designer early in the stages of their career who is looking to build their skills in a professional services environment, with exposure to a wide range of projects.
- Work alongside the Design team to deliver creative solutions that meet client and business needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the firm to produce a variety of deliverables including proposals, reports, presentations, marketing and event collateral, and other branded communications.
- Create professional, visually engaging designs using Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft PowerPoint across digital and print formats.
- Translate complex or text-heavy content into simple, well-structured visual communications.
- Manage multiple projects at once, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail under tight deadlines.
- Support the consistent application of KPMG’s brand standards across the firm.
- Contribute ideas and creative thinking during concept development and brainstorming sessions.
- Support with the ongoing development of templates, brand assets, and team processes.
- Photography, filming, or video editing experience a bonus.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Around 2-3 years’ experience in graphic design, ideally within a corporate or professional services environment.
- A strong creative portfolio showcasing your skills across a variety of design projects.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Cloud including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign (knowledge of After Effects or Premiere Pro a bonus.)
- Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- A collaborative approach and confidence communicating with team members and stakeholders.
- Confidence working across both PC and Mac environments.
- Familiar with current design trends and emerging technologies.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and genuine passion for design and creativity.
- A good level of New Zealand cultural awareness, with an understanding of local business audiences and expectations.
