Analyze accounting accounts, review variances, and prepare statements and special reports to ensure compliance with legislation, schedules and legal deadlines;
Develop and structure audit procedures;
Correct existing discrepancies to regularize accounting records;
Establish and structure processes for IFRS adoption;
Coordinate with operations to ensure accurate and reconciled inventory recording;
Be prepared to prepare and support internal and external audits and tax inspections by collecting and preparing documentation, drafting specific reports, analyzing identified issues and executing necessary adjustments;
Monitor changes in accounting legislation by following specialized publications, consulting relevant bodies and communicating guidance on any changes;
Request explanations for variances identified in analyses and for adjustments in accounting and audits, ensuring the correct application of accounting procedures and principles.
Requirements
Active CRC registration (Regional Accounting Council, Brazil);
Experience with the calculation and reporting under Lucro Real and Lucro Presumido tax regimes;
Experience with external audit processes (process structuring, monitoring and follow-ups with auditors and internal areas);
Knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS) and Brazilian accounting pronouncements (CPC);
Experience with IFRS adoption (emphasis on IFRS 9, 15 and 16) and in structuring related processes;
Highly communicative profile: will interact constantly with multiple areas across various hierarchical levels;
Detail-oriented/critical: carefully evaluating all accounting records and related processes, proposing continuous improvements;
Flexible: understanding the particularities of each area and the accounting impacts, always collaborating with others;
Able to work autonomously;
Hands-on: taking the initiative to prepare necessary postings and controls to advance accounting processes;
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build good relationships with other areas;
Knowledge of consolidation and preparation of corporate structure schedules (differential);
Experience preparing complete financial statements (schedules and explanatory notes) (differential);
