About the role
- Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, Active Directory, IIS, MS SQL, SSL renewal, and related components.
- Support and maintain the infrastructure behind SaaS solutions.
- Troubleshoot issues across server, application, and network layers.
- Work with virtualization platforms (Proxmox or similar) and network infrastructure.
- Contribute to automation efforts using PowerShell, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC tools (Terraform a plus).
- Support workloads running on AWS & Azure.
- Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions (Grafana, Zabbix, etc.).
- Document systems, processes, and changes thoroughly.
- Collaborate closely with developers and partners to improve reliability, performance, and deployment workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field.
- Strong experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
- Experience with IIS, PowerShell, and MS SQL administration.
- Knowledge of networking, virtualization (Proxmox a plus), and server hardware.
- Experience with CI/CD concepts; GitHub Actions knowledge is beneficial.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, specifically AWS.
- Experience with automation or IaC (Terraform a plus).
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Grafana, Zabbix, etc.).
- Advanced English communication skills (spoken and written) are required.
- Ability and availability to work in the Netherlands time zone (CET).
- Strong communication skills, proactive mindset, and ability to work independently.
