About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Organizational leadership of a four-person DevOps team
Plan capacities and the roadmap and prioritize day-to-day operations
Report on build status, migration progress, and supply chain security posture
Further develop CI/CD infrastructure in Jenkins/Bitbucket and GitLab
Operate and develop standardized pipelines for approximately 25 portfolio components
Manage the migration from Jenkins/Bitbucket to GitLab during live operations
Own artifacts in JFrog Artifactory with XRay policies and container images in Harbor
Drive automation of delivery management and ensure deployment of the software portfolio
Be responsible for Docker/OCI images and Helm charts
Implement the transition from scripts and bare-metal installers to pure container-based deployment
Create transition plans, training, and communicated deprecation timelines
Provide tooling support for the CVE scanning process, e.g. with XRay or Trivy
Further develop the SBOM process across the entire portfolio

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 5 years of hands-on DevOps experience
Strong knowledge of GitLab CI/CD, including pipeline design, runners, and native GitLab workflows
Proven experience running Docker/OCI images in production
Experience with artifact repositories such as Artifactory or Nexus and container registries
Understanding of CVE scanning processes
Experience generating SBOMs using CycloneDX
Experience standardizing CI/CD pipelines across multiple teams and projects
Experience in team coordination or informal team leadership
Practical experience with AI-powered developer tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor
Willingness to introduce AI-powered developer tools to the team and embed them into CI/CD workflows
Structured, clear communication in German at C1 level, both written and spoken
