About the role

  • Technical and disciplinary leadership of the Quality Management department (6 employees)
  • Ensuring quality policy and quality objectives
  • Responsibility for quality planning, all quality assurance measures in the plant, and the Quality Management System
  • Organize and perform quality inspection and control activities across the company as part of quality control
  • Develop and implement an Integrated Management System
  • Create and maintain quality assurance plans to ensure delivery scope
  • Organize and oversee process FMEAs for the entire product range
  • Plan and conduct internal and external audits and process approvals in accordance with VDA
  • Handle customer complaints and claims
  • Strategically plan quality assurance and supplier development
  • Collect and analyze key performance indicators and report to management
  • Assume the QMR (Quality Management Representative) function

Requirements

  • Degree from a university or university of applied sciences in Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics or an equivalent qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in quality management required, ideally in the automotive sector
  • Leadership experience
  • Relevant knowledge of IATF/ISO standards as well as industry-specific standards for the electronics industry
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Structured, analytical and proactive working style with a hands-on mentality
  • Qualification as Quality Management Representative (QMR)
  • Proven practical English skills, both written and spoken
  • Auditor qualification desirable (VDA 6.3, IATF 16949, …)
