Develop and implement test strategies and plans for mobile apps, web frontends and database applications (Oracle)
Execute functional and non-functional tests (manual and automated)
Select, set up and maintain appropriate test frameworks and tools for different application types (e.g., Selenium, Tosca, Appium or comparable tools)
Identify and document defects and work closely with developers to analyze and resolve issues
Create and maintain test databases and test scenarios
Ensure functionality, performance and usability of mobile applications across platforms (iOS, Android)
Validate RESTful APIs, including checking conformity with OpenAPI specifications, and integrate API tests into test automation
Test web frontends for functionality and consistency across different browsers and devices
Collaborate closely with developers, product owners and other stakeholders within agile development processes

Requirements

Degree in IT or a comparable qualification (HTL, university or university of applied sciences)
Several years of experience in software testing, especially in quality assurance of complex systems (mobile apps, web frontends, databases)
Experience testing mobile applications, including performance and usability testing
Knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and experience with cross-browser testing, as well as validating RESTful APIs based on OpenAPI specifications
Experience creating and executing tests for Oracle databases (SQL, PL/SQL)
Strong problem-solving skills and a structured working style
Ability to document test results clearly and communicate them effectively to all stakeholders
Experience with agile development processes (Scrum, Kanban)
Very good German skills and good English skills
