About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create study recruitment graphics, awareness campaigns, and other patient-facing materials using Canva or similar tools.
- Support patient and caregiver recruitment efforts across a variety of healthcare research studies while engaging directly with participants to answer questions and support community-building efforts.
- Build and maintain relationships with patient advocacy organizations and community partners.
- Draft clear, engaging communications for patients, caregivers, advocacy organizations, and internal stakeholders.
- Represent Rare Patient Voice at patient advocacy conferences, community events, and industry meetings throughout the United States.
- Partner with internal teams to coordinate outreach campaigns, track project activities, maintain documentation, and ensure studies are executed accurately and on schedule.
- Identify opportunities to improve team processes, outreach strategies, and operational efficiency through technology and automation.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of experience in patient advocacy, communications, marketing, community engagement, outreach, event coordination, project coordination, or a related field.
- Experience creating digital content and visual materials using Canva or similar design tools.
- Strong written and interpersonal skills, with a genuine interest in supporting patients and caregivers.
- Engaged by the opportunity to represent Rare Patient Voice professionally at conferences, advocacy events, and community engagements.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
- Comfortable using productivity, AI, and automation tools to improve efficiency and organization.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business productivity tools.
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout the United States, including occasional weekends, to support conferences, advocacy events, and community engagement activities.
- Experience in healthcare, patient advocacy, market research, nonprofit organizations, or community engagement is a plus.
