About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan, execute, and document testing activities across multiple Salesforce-based customer programs
- Perform functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing support
- Work with developers, business analysts, federal leads, and end users to validate enhancements and new features
- Ensure applications meet defined requirements, quality standards, and federal compliance requirements before deployment
- Manage testing activities across multiple task orders and customer environments simultaneously
- Participate in Agile sprint ceremonies, defect management, and continuous improvement efforts
- Identify, document, track, and manage defects and change requests through resolution and closure
- Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts, test reports, traceability matrices, and testing summaries
- Support security, accessibility, ATO, and customer-specific compliance testing
- Contribute to weekly and monthly status reports covering testing progress, defect metrics, and quality trends
- Provide cross-functional testing support for USDA FNA, FEMA CLIP, and AMS ATLAS programs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing
- Experience working on federal government IT contracts strongly preferred
- Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects or task orders in a government contracting environment
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Experience testing SaaS-based cloud platforms in large, complex enterprise environments
- Demonstrated experience testing Salesforce applications, including custom configurations, Apex triggers, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and integrations
- Ability to develop and execute Salesforce test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test reports
- Experience with functional, regression, system integration, and user acceptance testing
- Ability to test third-party Salesforce integrations, including DocuSign, Slack, Microsoft Teams, and MuleSoft
- Experience validating data integrity, validation rules, and reconciliation across Salesforce and connected systems
- Ability to perform security access testing for user roles, profiles, and permission sets
- Familiarity with Salesforce sandboxes and multiple sandbox tiers
- Experience testing No Code/Low Code configurations and custom Salesforce solutions
- Ability to conduct impact analysis testing for connected or downstream system changes
- Knowledge of Salesforce governance standards and QA best practices
- Experience using Jira or Azure DevOps for defect tracking and Agile sprint management
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and verify defect fixes
- Ability to maintain test case libraries, traceability matrices, and testing documentation
- Familiarity with Agile tools for sprint tracking, backlog management, and burndown reporting
- Ability to communicate testing status, risks, and blockers
- Demonstrated ability to manage testing across multiple task orders and customer environments
- Understanding of federal IT security requirements and ATO documentation
- Experience validating Section 508 accessibility compliance
- Ability to adhere to USDA IT policies, Supply Chain Risk Management, and data rights obligations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust
- Desired certifications include Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder, Salesforce Associate, Salesforce AI Associate, ISTQB CTFL, CSQA, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
- Desired technical knowledge includes Selenium, Provar, Salesforce testing frameworks, MuleSoft, Experience Cloud, RPA testing, SharePoint, UI/UX testing, OwnBackup, and file-sharing integrations
