Key responsibilities & impact- Provide full lifecycle development, testing, and deployment of Salesforce-based solutions across multiple customer programs
- Build application enhancements and support UI/UX best practices
- Integrate third-party tools and contribute to customer strategic product roadmaps
- Work within an Agile methodology
- Collaborate with federal leads, business analysts, architects, and other contractors in a multi-contractor, multi-customer environment
- Build and maintain Tableau dashboards and reporting solutions for data-driven decision-making across USDA customer programs
- Shift priorities across task orders while maintaining high-quality deliverables and meeting customer-specific operational, technical, and security requirements
- Support multiple USDA task orders focused primarily on FNA, with cross-functional support for FEMA CLIP and USDA AMS ATLAS programs
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, downstream impact analysis, unit testing, SIT, and UAT
- Maintain and update dashboards weekly or as needed per COR direction
- Contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, daily standups, backlog management, documentation, and release notes across concurrent programs
- Support federal IT security and compliance activities, including ATO documentation and Section 508 accessibility
- Support customer-specific communications and stakeholder engagement across FNA, FEMA, and AMS programs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Minimum of 5–7 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools
- Experience working on federal government IT contracts strongly preferred
- Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects or task orders in a government contracting environment
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews
- Experience supporting SaaS-based cloud platforms in a large, complex enterprise environment
- Proficiency in Salesforce configuration and development, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and SOQL
- Experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions or similar Salesforce industry clouds
- Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party tools such as DocuSign, Slack, Microsoft Teams, and MuleSoft
- Familiarity with OwnBackup or similar Salesforce backup and recovery tools
- Knowledge of Salesforce governance standards, technical best practices, and configuration management
- Experience building and maintaining Tableau dashboards and reports
- Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps
- Understanding of federal IT security requirements, including ATO documentation
- Ability to comply with Section 508 accessibility standards
- Adherence to USDA IT policies, Supply Chain Risk Management (DR 3540-004), and data rights obligations
- Ability to meet FEMA/DHS and USDA agency-specific security requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust
- Desired certifications include Salesforce Platform Developer I or II, Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder, Salesforce Public Sector Solutions Accredited Professional, Tableau Desktop Specialist, or Tableau Certified Data Analyst
- Additional desired technical knowledge includes MuleSoft, DocuSign, Experience Cloud, RPA tools, file-sharing integrations, USDA Cloud Vault, SharePoint, UI/UX design, and rapid prototyping
- Prior USDA, FEMA, FNS/FNA, or AMS experience is a plus
