About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work alongside senior team members to assess business workflows and identify where AI tools could improve work.
Build and iterate on AI automations and applications based on team feedback.
Participate in coaching sessions with business team members.
Maintain clear documentation for tools and workflows.
Test AI tools before they go to users.
Track and report on business team members' AI skill development.
Research emerging AI tools and platforms applicable to Kong's business.
Follow Kong's AI governance guidelines and collaborate with IT and Security.

Requirements

What you’ll need

2–3 years of professional or project-based experience
Practical experience using AI tools in your day-to-day work
Genuine curiosity about how AI tools work
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Organized and reliable in a fast-moving environment
Experience building with AI APIs and automation platforms is preferred
Any coding or scripting background is preferred
Experience explaining technology to non-technical audiences is preferred
Familiarity with common enterprise tools such as Slack, Google Workspace, Jira, or Salesforce is preferred
Knowledge of or interest in Kong Konnect, API management, or AI models connection is a plus.
