About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients in regard to their professional services engagement, building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Understand client needs, expectations, and strategic objectives to ensure alignment with service delivery.
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of professional services projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to define scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
- Allocate and manage resources effectively to ensure project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline constraints.
- Identify and address resource gaps or challenges proactively.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
- Conduct regular project reviews to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
- Identify potential risks and issues related to service delivery and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to address any deviations from the plan.
- Provide regular updates to clients on project status, milestones achieved, and any potential issues.
- Manage client expectations and address concerns promptly to ensure a positive client experience.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery processes and methodologies.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience as an Engagement Manager or in a similar role within Professional Services.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is preferred.
- Strong project management skills with a focus on delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and team collaboration abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with clients and internal teams.
- Knowledge of industry-standard methodologies for professional services delivery.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address challenges during project execution.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to convey complex API concepts to non-technical stakeholders is a plus.
