About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for finding and implementing the optimal technical solutions to meet the customer needs
- Involves supply line, installation, maintenance and project management to understand both the materials and the service cost of the product when needed
- Provide advanced technical solutions to support Sales, CSE teams, and customer inquiries
- Maintain product specifications for corporate and local materials
- Propose solutions for all KONE business lines
- Ensures that the proposed product fulfils local codes, regulations, and safety requirements
- Ensures that the planned product complies with KONE’s Engineering Policy
- Support rollout of new product releases, including documentation, local materials and training of sales and Installation teams
- Develop an understanding of Traffic and Energy calculations using corporate tools
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Holistic understanding of different building types and customer segments
- Excellent skills in understanding and translating customer needs into technical specifications
- Ability to work with codes and standards in a regulated environment
- Good knowledge of environmental and sustainability requirements and norms
- Basic knowledge of competitors’ technical solutions
