About the role
- Proactively engage with customers and influencers to create and build relationships in early phases of the customer journey
- Discover customer needs using consultative/value selling methods and increase projects with KONE spec in RFQs
- Receive leads from Sales Specialists and marketing and proactively screen the market and customer base
- Meet customers with local sales teams and articulate KONE’s solutions and value
- Maximize KONE’s hit-rate and profit margin by seeking opportunities to accelerate sales of new solutions and services
- Create and implement actionable sales ramp-up plans and report sales activities
- Collaborate with CSE on medium/large complexity projects and digital solutions (e.g. API, Residential Flow)
- Gather and document market and competitor information (e.g. to CRM)
- Ensure project handover to salespeople and support Sales Team in tendering and negotiations
- Keep local salespeople and project managers updated on early engagement sales activities and progress
