About the role
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Contract Management process and team
- Manage legal risk in the English and French contracts KONE enters into with its customers and vendors
- Manage high volume of contracts and prioritize based on customer need
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive and successful experience working with commercial contracts in a corporate or law firm setting
- Strong negotiation skills handling complex contract requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) and Juris Doctor (J.D.) or Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from an accredited Canadian law school, or equivalent
- Must be a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario and/or Québec
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Bilingual (English and French) required
- Ability to manage workload effectively to meet all assigned deadlines
- Understanding of contract management processes and ability to provide appropriate advice
- Ability to maintain a high standard of customer service and satisfaction
- Demonstrate the highest level of personal and professional ethical conduct and confidentiality
- Understanding of legal concepts, terminology, and negotiation issues
- Understanding of all KONE products and services
