About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide responsive care during hospital discharges, emergencies, and care package breakdowns
  • Ensure that clinical skills are kept current, staying up to date with training and developments in care practices
  • Deliver personalised care to clients with complex needs
  • Assist with personal care tasks (washing, dressing, eating, toileting)
  • Provide safe lifting, transferring, and repositioning support

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Previous experience in a care environment or a similar role
  • Resilience to stay calm and professional during challenging situations
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation (e.g., CQC standards, health and safety)
  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care (desirable)
