About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide responsive care during hospital discharges, emergencies, and care package breakdowns
Ensure that clinical skills are kept current, staying up to date with training and developments in care practices
Deliver personalised care to clients with complex needs
Assist with personal care tasks (washing, dressing, eating, toileting)
Provide safe lifting, transferring, and repositioning support
Maintain a calm and professional approach in challenging or high-pressure situations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Previous experience in a care environment or a similar role
Resilience to stay calm and professional during challenging situations
Knowledge of relevant legislation (e.g., CQC standards, health and safety)
NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care (desirable)
