Paediatric Care Assistant
Komplex GroupPaediatric Care Assistant providing caring support for a young child with complex needs at Komplex Care. Responsibilities include assistance with personal care, medical support and educational support.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with suctioning, PEG feeding and medication administration.
- Support the child with epilepsy management and other health needs, responding appropriately to medical emergencies.
- Assist with moving and handling and daily personal care routines.
- Support the child’s learning, development, and engagement within the classroom environment.
- Work closely with teachers, healthcare professionals, and family members to provide consistent, high-quality care.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience with children.
- Compassion, resilience and flexibility.
- Confidence in providing care to children with complex needs.
- Confidence in working 2:1.
- Warm & bubbly approach, willing to engage and show empathy.
- A team-first attitude and commitment to delivering person-centred care.
- Level 2 or 3 NVQ/QCF in health care is desirable.
