About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Place the right teachers in the right classrooms and ensure 100% of classrooms and students have a strong teacher for the day
- Use an absence management system to monitor assignments and fill same-day and advance requests
- Maximize Guest Teacher turnout through creativity, innovation, and people management
- Prioritize daily and weekly outcomes while adapting to changing school needs
- Perform critical data input with strong attention to detail
- Act as the main liaison between schools, Guest Teachers, and Kokua
- Communicate professionally and warmly with teachers and schools while maintaining calm under pressure
- Build Guest Teacher relationships to promote tenure and assignment fulfillment
- Provide classroom support and assistance using educational background and knowledge
- Engage school partners to ensure satisfaction and retention and provide high-quality service
- Use data strategically to improve fill rates, Guest Teacher utilization, processes, and performance
- Analyze data using Excel and Google Sheets
- Work closely with Regional and Talent Teams to match talent to classrooms and ensure organizational success
- Meet deadlines and contribute positive energy to the team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 1-2 years experience teaching or otherwise working closely with students preferred
- Exceptional written/verbal communication and people skills
- Strong time-management and prioritization skills, including the ability to track details and deadlines of multiple work streams
- Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to independently accomplish goals
- Tech-savvy
- Able to work across functions and teams within the organization
- Efficient communicator (written and verbal) who responds quickly
- Available to work Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM ET; Friday, 6:00 AM–10:00 AM ET; and a 4-hour Sunday shift
- Occasional flexibility based on operational needs
