About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules for construction projects
- Ensure all stages of the construction process are accurately planned and executed on time
- Support project management teams across self-performed and subcontractor scopes of work
- Independently or collaboratively create high-level master schedules for projects of varying size and complexity
- Develop summary-level through detailed activity/resource-loaded schedules
- Build master schedules with operations, clients, designers, and trade partners
- Perform critical schedule analysis and recommend adjustments to improve outcomes
- Ensure project schedules conform to contract requirements and specifications
- Participate in estimating and project meetings, providing scheduling input, recommendations, and value engineering advice
- Prepare and present project schedules and narratives to clients and stakeholders
- Identify and manage potential risks and develop contingency plans
- Perform Time Impact Analysis (TIA)
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration preferred, or experience in lieu of degree
- 8+ years of experience in Project Scheduling, preferably on heavy civil and heavy industrial construction projects
- Proficiency in Oracle Primavera Cloud and/or Primavera P6
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Prior experience performing critical path, earned value, and schedule impact analysis preferred
- Ability to work with estimators, project team members, subcontractors, engineers, contracting partners, and clients
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects concurrently
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Background in Civil Engineering or related fields
- Deep understanding of construction processes
- Willingness to travel to St. Louis once a month when based at an Ohio location
