Environmental Manager
KokosingEnvironmental Manager supporting compliance and sustainability initiatives across Kokosing's services in the construction industry. Operating independently and collaboratively within the Mid-West region.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Senior Environmental Director and operate both independently and collaboratively to deliver environmental services across Kokosing companies
- Ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations
- Promote safe work practices
- Support industrial hygiene initiatives
- Contribute to the development and growth of the company’s sustainability program
- Develop, implement, and conduct environmental inspections
- Provide guidance, direction, and coaching to project teams regarding environmental requirements and best practices
- Prepare and submit environmental compliance reports to regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders
- Conduct environmental audits, analyses, and performance reporting for both internal and external clients
- Deliver environmental training programs
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–10 years of relevant environmental, health, and safety (EHS) experience, preferably in construction or a related industry
- Strong working knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively communicate EHS policies and procedures across all organizational levels
- Proactive, solution-oriented approach to identifying and addressing compliance issues
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities
