About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Working onsite with the Project Team to plan, develop, coordinate, and manage onsite construction engineering activities for Industrial projects
  • Manage project engineering and related personnel functions and activities
  • Ensure project engineering activities comply with company and contract requirements and support overall construction schedule
  • Provide technical support for construction effort including participation in construction planning and design
  • Develop, implement and administer project engineering procedures
  • Represent company, project and/or department during A/E, client and project management meetings
  • Oversee all pre-construction services, design-build services, and business development for the project
  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely monthly cost, income, and cash flow projections
  • Manage time and organizes office and filing system efficiently

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent technical training and related experience
  • (5)+ years of similar construction engineering experience in Heavy Industrial projects
  • Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, standards, etc.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred but not required
