About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Working onsite with the Project Team to plan, develop, coordinate, and manage onsite construction engineering activities for Industrial projects
- Manage project engineering and related personnel functions and activities
- Ensure project engineering activities comply with company and contract requirements and support overall construction schedule
- Provide technical support for construction effort including participation in construction planning and design
- Develop, implement and administer project engineering procedures
- Represent company, project and/or department during A/E, client and project management meetings
- Oversee all pre-construction services, design-build services, and business development for the project
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely monthly cost, income, and cash flow projections
- Manage time and organizes office and filing system efficiently
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent technical training and related experience
- (5)+ years of similar construction engineering experience in Heavy Industrial projects
- Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, standards, etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred but not required
