About the role
- Own large data domain(s) and integrate data requirements into project planning
- Design and optimize data models with a strong focus on performance
- Develop dashboards that provide answers to critical business questions
- Identify trends and opportunities through deep data analysis
- Partner with stakeholders to refine requirements and offer data-driven recommendations
- Own project planning and participate in cross-functional domain ownership
- Mentor team members and contribute to establishing best practices
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data roles
- Ability to write, review and enhance SQL queries focusing on code performance
- Advanced expertise in DBT, independently implementing complex features
- Strong version control skills with Git
- Ability to adapt communication to different audiences and articulate recommendations
