About the role
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key projects, ensuring a smooth customer journey from start to finish.
- Consistently anticipate internal and customer needs and adapt project communications accordingly.
- Foster an environment of ownership of project and customer success.
- Manage multiple customer projects simultaneously—scoping, planning, and executing deliverables on time and within expectations.
- Develop project timelines, implementation steps, internal and external communication strategies, governance frameworks, and change management plans in coordination with Kodiak and customer leadership.
- Ensure high-quality execution of all project deliverables.
- Coordinate and/or oversee coordination (where applicable) of project meetings and all related deliverables such as agendas, minutes, action items, and follow-up of next steps to continue moving the project forward.
- Manage project scope according to scope of work defined in contract.
- Identify opportunities for contract amendments, including creating and follow through of execution of amendment.
- Identify opportunities for expansion, upsell potential, and process improvement while mitigating risks.
- Develop and manage internal project finance processes.
- Support customer invoicing and billing processes.
- Manage and oversee benefit tracking processes and maintain customer ROI.
Requirements
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in business or a health-related field is required (an MBA, MHA, and/or MPH is highly desirable).
- Experience: 3-5 years of healthcare project management experience is required, with a focus on clinical areas or revenue cycle being a strong advantage.
- Consulting Expertise: Previous experience in a professional services or consulting role is essential, demonstrating a proven track record in delivering client-focused solutions.
- Revenue Cycle Knowledge: A fundamental understanding of hospital revenue cycle management, with a specific focus on mid revenue cycle processes, is highly desirable.
- Technical Proficiency & Certification: Strong technical knowledge of project management and/or revenue cycle, along with relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CAPM, RHIA, etc.) is expected.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and other project management tools.
- Leadership & Project Management: Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, guide cross-functional teams, and interact with all levels of customer and internal staff.
- Analytical & Financial Skills: Financial and analytical skills are required, with a strong aptitude for using data to drive decision-making and process improvement.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Business Development: Prior experience in sales or business development is a plus, showcasing the ability to foster client relationships and grow business opportunities.
- Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel up to 25% to client sites, as needed.
