- Decide what we’re going to build and why
- Learn the ins and outs of developing geological hypotheses
- Join field programs to experience the impact of technology
- Develop strong beliefs about discovery of deposits
- Find gaps and bottlenecks in the team’s practices
- Actively assess the ongoing exploration impact of our software
- Produce mocks, prototypes, and wireframes
- Synthesize vision into documents and presentations
- Clearly state functional hypotheses and prioritize work to falsify them
- Strive to bring colleagues together
Requirements
- Possess high technical aptitude
- Have at least 5 years professional experience with a technical product designed for scientists or data scientists
- Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn about all aspects of mineral exploration
- Ability to explain technical problems to and collaborate on solutions with domain experts
- Excitement about joining a fast-growing early-stage company
- Keen not just to build cool technology, but to figure out what technical product to build
- A valid passport and willingness to travel to observe work at Mingomba or exploration sites
