Executive Assistant

• Own complex, frequently changing calendars for two C-level executives
• Coordinate meetings across time zones and manage last-minute changes
• Keep executives focused on top priorities and minimize scheduling conflicts
• Arrange domestic and international travel, including flights, lodging, and ground transportation
• Handle changes quickly and keep everyone informed
• Organize agendas, prepare materials, and ensure executives have what they need ahead of time
• Take detailed notes (when requested) and make sure follow-ups are clear and tracked
• Act as the point of contact for your executives, triaging requests and routing information appropriately
• Maintain fast, clear communication through Slack and other internal tools
• Handle expense reports, approvals, and other administrative tasks promptly
• Track key dates, deadlines, and reminders to keep executives on track

Security Engineer

• Establish, implement, and oversee a comprehensive global security strategy with focus on high-risk regions such as the DRC
• Design and implement a scalable, risk-based security program and physical surveillance protocols for high-risk zones
• Develop site-specific security plans for exploration camps and project sites, including access control and emergency response
• Establish and manage protocols for workforce travel to high-risk locations and oversee protective services and secure logistics
• Coordinate security policies and activities with Operations, Legal, and Government Affairs to ensure compliance and ethics
• Produce actionable intelligence briefs and provide routine briefings to leadership and partners
• Lead crisis management framework including kidnap & ransom preparedness and medical evacuation planning
• Select, onboard, and manage vetted local and international security providers and develop vendor pass matrices
• Partner with Community Engagements teams, train community champions, and support crisis communications
• Liaise with US Government, host country authorities, international organizations, and local communities; build networks with provincial governors, military/police commanders, and customary chiefs
• Develop intelligence channels on corruption, artisanal mining encroachment, and organized crime; coordinate risk mitigation tied to election cycles and protests
• Ensure compliance with laws, mining codes, and human rights frameworks; deliver training on personal security and emergency procedures

• The mining industry has steadily become worse at finding new ore deposits, requiring >10X more capital to make discoveries compared to 30 years ago. The easy-to-find, near-surface deposits have largely been found, and the industry has chronically under-invested in new exploration technology, relying on the manual techniques of yesteryear  
• KoBold builds AI models for mineral exploration and deploys those models—alongside our novel sensors—to guide decisions on KoBold-owned-and-operated exploration programs. In the six years since founding, KoBold has become by far both the largest independent mineral exploration company and the largest exploration technology developer. Our data scientists and software engineers, who come from leading technology companies, jointly lead exploration programs with our renowned exploration geologists.
• KoBold has proven its first discovery with materially less capital than the industry average and found one of the best copper deposits ever discovered: the copper is far more concentrated than the global average of copper mines, and this asset alone is expected to generate meaningful revenue for decades. KoBold has a portfolio of more than 60 other projects, each of which has the potential for another high-quality discovery.

The coordinator will work very closely with our fabulous recruiters and hiring teams, initially spending most of their time scheduling interviews across the globe., The coordinators efforts will have a significant impact on our ability to fulfill our recruiting duties quickly while providing a great candidate experience and attracting world-class talent.
• Responsibilities

• Own the Scheduling, rescheduling and confirming of interviews, across multiple time zones (core responsibility of the role )

• Manage job postings across multiple platforms

• Identify and implement company-wide improvements to our recruiting operations

• Maintain and ensure accurate records of candidate stages, notes, and interview feedback

• In the future, help organize and participate in external programs such as job fairs, virtual career days, or university recruiting
• Qualifications

• Experience as a recruiting coordinator, executive assistant, or other relevant position

• Experience managing multiple ongoing projects

• Well-organized, responsive, flexible, and excited to work with people all over the world

• This position is full-time

• The US base salary range for this full-time exempt position is $65,000-$75,000

• 100% Remote. Candidates can be located anywhere in the United States or Canada
