About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee daily café operations
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, and compliance with Japanese regulations
- Manage opening and closing procedures
- Develop and maintain cafe SOPs for all key processes
- Maintain quality and consistency of signature items
- Lead a team of full-time and part-time staff
- Foster a positive and brand-aligned team culture
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues
- Plan and execute community activations and events
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years experience in café or small restaurant management
- Strong understanding of food operations and hygiene especially within a Japanese F&B environment
- Experience managing small teams
- Japanese fluency required
- English is a plus
- 食品衛生責任者 (food sanitation supervisor)
