About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define and execute a multi-year business intelligence strategy aligned with product and business goals
Lead initiatives involving denial management, collections performance, coding accuracy, payer contract optimization, and integration of historical reporting with machine learning-driven predictive and prescriptive analytics
Lead and mentor a high-performing team of data visualization engineers
Partner with Product, Engineering, Service Delivery, and Client Success teams to embed business intelligence into product offerings and operational workflows
Own the enterprise BI environment, using Astrato as the primary visualization and reporting platform
Lead workspace governance, semantic layer design, and enterprise-wide BI adoption
Translate complex data into actionable insights for executive leadership and key stakeholders
Serve as the primary liaison between data assets and business decisions
Optimize product performance, enhance customer experience and dependence, and support revenue growth

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years in data, analytics, or BI roles
5+ years in healthcare RCM or payer operations
3+ years in a VP or director-level leadership role
Proficiency with cloud data platforms, including Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery
Hands-on experience with BI tools; Astrato strongly preferred
Deep knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare data compliance
Strong SQL skills
Data modeling background
Deep expertise in data analytics, data engineering, and data visualization tools
Experience with SQL, Python, R, Astrato, Tableau, and Power BI
Dedicated, distraction-free work space at home
Valid government-issued photo ID required during screening and/or interviews
