About the role
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements across all business units.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of financial and operational performance against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods, providing clear and concise variance explanations.
- Help identify trends and insights in KPIs, highlighting opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains.
- Partner with operational leaders to provide financial guidance, decision support, and recommendations for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and modeling to support strategic initiatives and business development activities.
- Support due diligence efforts, coordinating with cross-functional teams, maintaining data rooms, and tracking transaction timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline data gathering, enhance reporting, and maintain data integrity.
- Contribute to the development of scalable, efficient financial processes and controls.
Requirements
- B.S. in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of progressive financial analysis experience in a dynamic environment (e.g., startup, investment banking, consulting).
- Exceptional proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (advanced modeling, pivot tables, lookups, etc.).
- Familiarity with financial planning software and accounting systems preferred.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to succinctly communicate insights to a leadership audience.
- Healthcare industry experience is preferred, but not required.
