About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in creating electrical schematics and routing printed circuit board (PCB) layouts.
- Perform hands-on testing, debugging, and bring-up of prototype electrical printed circuit assemblies (PCAs) and systems.
- Research and select electrical components based on performance, cost, and availability constraints.
- Generate and maintain engineering documentation, including bills of materials (BOMs), test plans, and assembly instructions.
- Partner with software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to resolve hardware-related issues.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Eligible to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance – U.S. Citizenship required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- 0 to 2 years of professional or extensive internship experience in electrical hardware design.
- Hands-on experience or familiarity with industry-standard design tools like Altium Designer, OrCAD Capture, or Mentor PADS is highly desirable.
- Practical experience using laboratory equipment, including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, function generators, and soldering tools.
- Basic understanding of circuit analysis, signal troubleshooting, and PCA hardware testing methodologies.
