Defining both potential and existing opportunities. Developing a strategic plan that will position the company's services and products to maximize market share.
Identify new product and account opportunities and compile quote information on competitive products.
Respond to requests for quotes, providing detailed price quotes on prospective business opportunities.
Monitoring the results of sales activities against planned objectives. Reporting the results to senior management and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Build long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers, including key personnel in engineering, R&D, manufacturing, and purchasing.
Achieve assigned sales, account development, and other targets.
Functioning as a key participant in sales negotiations with major customers in closing sales.
Develop forecasting plans.
Provide support to reps and distributors based on knowledge of products and applications.
Training and technical support to rep/distributors.
Assist the communication between rep/distributors and Knowles Microwave factories.
Utilize sales management software tools as provided by the business.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
Proven track record of sales growth in previous positions
Relevant electrical/electronic manufacturing product and industry knowledge preferred.
Experience selling passive components and/or experience in calling on the Microwave/RF market is preferred
5+ years’ experience in microwave industry of components/systems sales for OEM’s.
