About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create and foster a culture of hospitality through exceptional customer experiences
- Build enduring relationships internally and externally
- Support service enhancers, including active use of Concierge
- Achieve sales and service metrics including Clientelling/Outreach, Appointment Setting, and Talbots Classic Awards
- Plan and prioritize tasks and responsibilities to meet customer and business needs
- Understand customer needs and wants through intentional conversation
- Share current products and fashion trends to wardrobe, inspire, and build customer trust
- Participate in community and store activities and events promoting the Talbots brand
- Professionally represent the brand image
Requirements
What you’ll need- Driven to create, build, and cultivate customer and community relationships
- Ambition and passion for achieving individual and team goals
- Ability to work cooperatively in a diverse work environment
- Passion for selling and ability to drive new store traffic
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of integrity
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Ability to independently make decisions
- Technological aptitude with POS, computer, iPad, and handheld systems
- Open availability of 20–29 hours per week
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Comfortable climbing ladders, moving regularly, and standing for extended periods
- Ability to bend, reach, and stretch for products
- Ability to lift, carry, and move at least 40 lbs
