About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the technical strategy and long-term roadmap for omni-channel application platforms.
  • Provide architectural direction aligned with enterprise standards and business strategy.
  • Evaluate and guide technology choices with a focus on scalability, security, and maintainability.
  • Ensure strong engineering practices including design reviews, coding standards, and testing quality.
  • Guide teams through release planning and solution readiness.
  • Lead, mentor and develop technical teams (Tech Leads, Senior Engineers, Vendors).
  • Set technical expectations and provide ongoing performance feedback.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Communicate technical decisions, risks, and dependencies to senior stakeholders.
  • Drive platform modernization, including cloud adoption and architectural evolution.
  • Lead evaluation and adoption of AI-enabled capabilities to improve developer productivity and business outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI/ML for automation, insights, and decision support.
  • Promote responsible AI usage aligned with enterprise governance and security standards.
  • Improve SDLC, DevOps maturity, and engineering practices.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Hands-on or leadership experience with Manhattan Active Omni, including solution design, integrations, or large-scale implementations.
  • Retail, eCommerce, OMS, or fulfillment systems experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise application development.
  • 3+ years in a Tech Lead, Engineering Manager, or Senior Technical role.
  • Strong experience with omni-channel, customer-facing, or large-scale enterprise platforms.
