About the role

  • Deliver front end features and enhancements in line with agreed sprint commitments.
  • Produce maintainable, readable, and well tested code, including unit and integration tests.
  • Take ownership of assigned work items, escalating issues or risks appropriately.
  • Design, develop, and maintain UI components using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Implement responsive, accessible, and performant interfaces aligned with Kneat UX standards.
  • Integrate front-end functionality with backend services, managing client-side state, loading, and error handling.
  • Write and maintain automated tests for components, hooks, and user flows.
  • Adhere to internal development standards, branching strategies, and software development lifecycle processes.
  • Use modern development tooling, including Git and front-end build/bundling tools (e.g. Webpack, Rollup, Vite, Lerna).

Requirements

  • 2-4 years+ experience delivering production front-end applications.
  • Strong practical experience with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles.
  • Experience writing and maintaining automated tests.
  • Ability to work independently on defined tasks within an established team and technical framework.
