About the role

  • Serve as the technical reference for the development, maintenance, and evolution of systems, supporting mid-level and junior developers;
  • Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL objects (procedures, functions, triggers, packages, jobs, and schedulers), ensuring performance, security, and scalability;
  • Analyze and optimize SQL queries, identify bottlenecks, and implement tuning, indexing, and partitioning strategies;
  • Contribute to data modeling and evolution, reviewing structures and defining schema change strategies with minimal production impact;
  • Develop and evolve backend applications in Java, applying architectural best practices, object-oriented principles, SOLID, and design patterns;
  • Develop and maintain frontend applications using React, Angular, or similar technologies, ensuring quality, component reusability, and a good user experience;
  • Ensure integration between frontend, backend, and database, guaranteeing consistency, performance, and reliability of solutions;
  • Participate in defining system architecture, evaluating technical trade-offs, security, performance, and cost considerations;
  • Define and promote development best practices, coding standards, and repository organization;
  • Conduct code reviews, support the team’s technical growth, and work to reduce technical debt;
  • Investigate and resolve critical incidents, perform root cause analysis, and propose structural improvements;
  • Collaborate with product and business teams to analyze requirements and define technical solutions;
  • Support deployment, versioning, and observability strategies for systems;
  • Contribute to technical documentation and the recording of architectural decisions.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with PL/SQL and Oracle Database;
  • Experience optimizing SQL queries and data modeling;
  • Experience developing backend applications in Java;
  • Knowledge of object-oriented design, SOLID principles, and development best practices;
  • Experience with API and Web Service integrations;
  • Familiarity with source control (Git) and code review processes;
  • Experience acting as a technical reference or mentoring teams.
  • Preferred:
  • Experience with React, Angular, or similar frontend technologies;
  • Knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript;
  • Experience with CI/CD, observability, and microservices architecture;
  • Experience in the logistics sector.
